Nollywood actor, Enyinna’s portrait selected for museum in America

Nollywood actor, Enyinna Nwigwe‘s portrait photograph has been selected for a permanent exhibition at the Smithsonian Institution’s National Museum of African Art.

The museum is located on the National Mall of the United States capital, Washington DC.

Enyinna’s portrait was selected to join traditional and contemporary African art from both Sub-Saharan and North Africa on permanent exhibition at the Museum.

The portrait was taken by a Nigerian-American photographer, Iké Udé, who is also a performance artist and author.

Enyinna starred in an action drama “Black November” alongside Vivica Fox, Akon, Hakeem Kae-Kazim and Wyclef Jean, for which he was acknowledged by the State of Texas, California and won the best supporting actor award from NAFCA, according to NAN reports.

He also starred in Kemi Adetiba’s “The wedding party” and “The Wedding party 2” alongside Banky W, Adesua and Sola Sobowale.

The Smithsonian Institution’s National Museum of African Art has housed important pieces like Oprah Winfrey’s studio couch and Mohammed Ali’s boxing headgear since its opening in 2016.
