Veteran rapper, Ruggedman, has disclosed why he ‘detrained’ from the movie world in Nigeria.
The rapper, Michael Ugochukwu Stephens, popularly known as Ruggedman, on twitter said the industry doesn’t favour men.
Ruggedman lamented how women in the industry are always the ones buying new cars, building houses, getting endorsements e.t.c.
The rapper who hails from Ohafia, Abia has said he wondered why the men are left alone.
According to him, he had always wanted to be in the movie industry, but has being skeptical because of the things he sees.
“My male actors in Nollywood, what’s going on? It’s just the females that are buying cars and building houses left and right.
“I wanted to pursue a career in acting but honestly, at this rate, I don’t think I’m still interested,” he said.
