Nigerian-American mental health expert, Osatohanmwen Iredia has bagged a PhD degree in Psychology from Alliant International University (AIU) California,USA.
The newly decorated Doctor of Psychology in Organizational Development is the younger brother of the former Director General of the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA), Dr. Tonnie Iredia and former Chairman of the Edo State Internal Revenue Service (EIRS) late Sam Iredia.
The commencement event took place at the Saroyan Theatre, in Fresno.
Friends and family of the celebrant were seen cheering words of support and motivation on the day.
Speaking to Kaftanpost, Dr. Osato expressed delight in the completion of his doctoral program. “I dedicate this degree to my late parents. I look forward to being a change agent to my community and the world in general. Thank God for making today come through” he said.
At the event, brother in-law to Dr. Osato, Col. RSB Bello-Fadile commended the academic effort and highlighted its significance.
“He’s a Nigerian, and a PhD is an achievement any where in the world. He is a friend and a brother worth celebrating. The Iredia name means something to us back home, so of course we are celebrating him and I can give more reasons why we all should celebrate this achievement.”
