Pastor’s wife, two daughters, kidnapped in Abuja

Heavily armed gunmen on Sunday, kidnapped a 45 year-old wife of a pastor, Mrs Oladapo Bukola and her two daughters in Pegi community in Kuje Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

The two girls were identified as Moyo Oladapo, 17 years old, and Glory Oladapo, 14 years old.

The Pastor, Gabriel Oladapo, was reportedly away from home when the incident happen around 1:04 am.

The FCT Police command has confirmed the incident, but however, said that efforts are being made by detectives to arrest the suspects and rescue the victims.

Spokesman of the FCT Police Command, ASP Daniel Y Ndiparya, said: “Efforts are being made by the command to ensure the victims are rescued.”

While also confirming the incident to journalists, the chairman of Pegi Community Development Association, (PECDA), Mr Taiwo Aderibigbe, lamented the endless kidnap in the area.

He, however, called on security agencies to come to the rescue of the residents of the area.

“It is quite worrisome, that Pegi, Kuje, is being targeted by kidnappers and security agencies are not doing much,” the community leader said.
