Photographer and estranged wife of Nigerian artiste 9ice, Toni Payne, has slammed Tonto Dike’s ex-husband, Olakunle Churchill, for naming his two sons same name.
Recall that Churchill while revealing the birth of his new son with new wife, Rosy, had disclosed the name of the boy as King. Which was the same name given to his first son with Tonto Dike.
Toni Payne took to her Instagram to rebuke the act, she claimed Churchill’s act is nothing but immature.
According to her, the act simply can put the two innocent children together as enemies.
“I’ve always said no reasonable woman would purposely keep a child away from the father or go as far as changing the last name without good reason. There is always more to the story. Keyword here is reasonable.
“That a man has two kids and he would give both sons the same name shows how vindictive he is…there are millions of names to choose from so what purpose does it serve? To spite the ex? Or to invalidate the first child! I see it as a man already laying foundation to pit two innocent souls against each other…so disgusting! So so so disgusting.
“Truly, it’s who wears the shoe that knows where it pinches. When a woman takes such a drastic decision, sometimes, e get why,” she said.
Toni also dragged the new wife, Rosy, into the mess. She claimed “women are their own enemy”.
“And because women are their own worst enemies, a woman will sit there and allow her innocent child be dragged into a mess and then the same name as the mans ex’s child…to prove say na she dey there? Or that her own child cancels the previous?
“To what aim exactly? Such jokers. Disgusting ones at that.
“Dude is solo obsessed with his ex he had to name his child after his exes child. It just sounds so wild to me. There is nothing I hate more than people who use children as a tool to be vindictive. FFS!
“See ehn… I always say watch how a man treats his exes cos at some point, he was all loved up with her and what he is doing to her, he can easily do to you too… And that’s on PERIOD!”
Toni further mocked the idea by saying how absurd it might become in future when both kids are introduced. She said, “what’s your name? Peter. What’s your brother’s name? Peter. E be things mehnnn. Nawa!”
