Nigerian artist, Oluwakayode Balogun also called Barry Jhay, has been cleared of the murder allegations of his label boss, Karshy Gordon, by the Ghanaian Police.
Barry Jhay was accused of killing his boss, Karshy, over a misunderstanding.
Recall that a video went viral days ago, igniting some rumours that the artist had killed his boss simply because he was with the deceased before his death, which was shown in the video.
However, Barry Jhay announced his freedom on Instagram on Tuesday, and released a report of an investigation carried out by the Police.
According to the report, Barry Jhay was attacked by his record label boss shortly after Karshy’s girlfriend called his attention to the boss’ weird behaviour.
The report further disclosed that Karshy jumped down to his death from the 4th floor of the hotel they lodged minutes after Barry left the deceased.
An eyewitness and CCTV footage corroborated the claim.
With the evidence and the help of a CCTV, the police had cleared the name of the singer off the case.
The report reads: “the investigations conducted so far has proven that the suspect, Oluwakayode Balogun is not guilty and has been cleared of all murder charges against him as postmortem examinations carried out on the deceased showed that he died of severe head injury and fall from a height.”
