The Nigeria Police Force has detained Davido’s nanny and cook over the artiste’s son who died as a result of drowning days ago.
Recall that late into the night on Monday, the unfortunate news circulated the media. It was officially confirmed the next day on Tuesday, November 1, 2022.
It was reported that eight domestic staff were arrested from the artiste’s residence after the incident.
In a new post made by the Police spokesperson, Benjamin Hundeyin, he confirmed to BBC that six of the staff have been released but the investigation will continue with the nanny of the late boy and the cook.
It is also reported that the CCTV of the house will be analysed.
Hundeyin said, “I spoke with the DPO and he said the nanny and the cook have been detained. Other domestic workers brought in for questioning were released.”
“We are reviewing the CCTV cameras to get additional information about the circumstances of his death.”
