Gospel singer, Mercy Chinwo, has won the Best International Act at the 2023 Premier Gospel Awards in the United Kingdom.
The award, which was held at the Cadogan Hall in Chelsea, London, on Friday, was also celebrating its 50th year of gospel music in the United Kingdom.
Mercy on her Instagram shared a picture of the award. She wrote, “GOD IS GOOD. Thanks for the honour @premiergospel. To everyone of you who voted, thank you God bless you all.”
On stage after she has been presented the award. She said this in her appreciation speech.
Mercy said, I’m humbled and honoured to receive this prestigious award.
“I want to thank God for His grace and the incredible support from my fans, friends, and family who have been with me on this journey.
“This award is not just for me; it is for everyone who believes in the power of music to touch hearts and change lives.”
