Afrobeat rapper and singer, Mohbad, has been laid to rest amid tears from his fans and friends.
Recall that the singer was confirmed dead on Tuesday, September 12, by his friend. Shortly after, his cause of death was stated to be complications from an ear infection.
Although many are against the disclosed cause of death, the singer has been buried just a few hours after his passing.
The remains of the late singer were seen in a white coffin and was gathered by a group of mourners. He was buried while the rain was pouring on the people around to pay him his last respect.
A viral video showing the funeral rites has someone chanting his name repeatedly in the background.
His colleagues, fans and friends have taken to their social media to mourn him since the loss.
