The Personal Assistant to President Muhammadu Buhari on social media, Lauretta Onochie, has cautioned persons, she claimed are fond of basking in presidential influence to perpetuate unconstitutional acts.
Onochie sounded the note of caution in a tweet she made today, Friday.
Though she did not name the people in question, she, however, dubbed them “name droppers.”
The outspoken presidential special assistant said it’s disgusting to keep bandying the name of the president around when embarking on “illegal, unconstitutional and undemocratic” ventures.
She noted that the namedroppers were only swelling the ranks of Buhari’s adversaries adding that the president already had enough political enemies.
Onochie said the president, being a law-abiding citizen, would never throw his weight behind unconstitutional and undemocratic actions.
“It’s disgusting how people claim that they have Pres. Buhari’s backing especially when embarking on illegal, unconstitutional and undemocratic ventures. Our President is a law-abiding Citizen of this great nation.
“He will never be part of any scheme to break the law or side with anything undemocratic. Stop making enemies for him. Though unjustifiable, Pres. Buhari has enough enemies. Please stop! It’s no longer funny. Stop! Enough is Enough.”
