Tiktoker Okoye Blessing Nwakego aka Ego, who accused actress Eniola Badmus of prostitution, has been sentenced to prison.
A Federal High Court in Lagos on Wednesday, sentenced Ego to three years imprisonment with the option of a fine of N150,000.
Recall that in July 2023, Ego went viral after she made a video to call Eniola Badmus out for connecting young ladies to politicians in exchange for money.
She went further to say the actress had done the same to a friend of hers who had undergone liposuction.
Ego after being arrested confessed in a video that she had conspired with a friend only identified as Chimabia, who had promised to help her with rent money of N200,000, to tarnish Eniola’s reputation.
On Wednesday, Justice Nicholas Oweibo convicted the defendant. She pleaded guilty to the two-count charge of cyberstalking.
The offence according to law contravened sections 24 (1) (b), (2) (a) (c), and 27 of the Cybercrimes Act, 2015.
