Some celebrities were in attendance on Tuesday at the night of tribute for gospel singer, Sammie Okposo.
Okposo passed away at 51 in his sleep on Friday, November 25, 2022.
Timi Dakolo, Segun Arinze, Ali Baba, Chinedu Ikedieze, Charles Inojie and his colleagues were all present at the La Madison venue in Oniru, Lagos.
There were outstanding performances from gospel singers, Tope Alabi, Mike Abdul and Efe Nathan.
Tope Alabi moved the attendees with a farewell song and Mike led them in a high praise.
Segun Arinze recounted memories shared with the deceased who is often referred to as ‘Black Arrow’.
Sammie’s wife broke down in tears during the event and was comforted by the people around her.
The remains will be buried on December 16, 2022.
Timi Dakolo and Comedian Akpororo also performed.
