Multiple sources say out-going US President, Donald Trump is making efforts to stop Joe Biden’s emergence as President by making use of the Military to reverse the victory at the poll.

Trump lost the popular vote to Biden by more than 7 million votes and was defeated in the electoral college by a count of 306-232, yet he has repeatedly and baselessly claimed that he only lost because of widespread election fraud and demanded an investigation.

Donald Trump’s meeting with his former (and now pardoned) national security adviser, Michael Flynn, as well as his attorney, Rudy Giuliani on the issue has sparked fears of military intervention as the defeated president is yet to accept defeat.

This is after Michael Flynn had told Trump to impose martial law and deploy the military to “rerun” the election in swing states that went for Biden. His claim is reported to be considered by the President who has inquired about the idea.

“Within the swing states, if he wanted to, he could take the military capabilities and he could place them in those states and basically rerun an election in each of those states,” Flynn reportedly said.

The consistent visit of Flynn to the White House and Giuliani, who has continued to defend the President for hiring Sidney Powell, as a special counsel to investigate election fraud and giving her a security clearance despite her lack of adequate intelligence training has raised suspicion.

Meanwhile, Trump campaign’s legal team has actually been distancing itself from Powell, given her wild conspiracy theories.

However, Trump has an history with Flynn, having recently granted him a presidential pardon for admitted lying to Special Counsel Robert Mueller during his investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election.

Nevertheless, the claims of the US military by Trump to upturn the outcome of the election has not been proven as speculations have only been heightened as a result of the earlier claims by Flynn.

Meanwhile, Trump in a tweet on Sunday, December 20th, dismissed the reports on him weighing martial law and dismissed it as “Fake News.”

Analysts have also wondered why Trump will consider such a thought that could tarnish the democracy of the country after several failed legal attempts.
