Nigerian pop legend singer was Tuesday honoured with an award as a ‘Fellow’ of the School of Music by Obafemi Awolowo University, Osun State. The honoured was in recognition for his contribution to the development of music over two decades.
The legendary singer attended the ceremony with his wife, Annie idibia and the couple as well as his team paid a courtesy visit to the palace of the Arole Oodua Ooni of Ife after they had received the award and delivering a lecture at OAU.
During a chat with the couple, the Ooni of Ife said to Annie, ‘” thank you for taking care of 2baba for us.”
