A member of the boy band, The Cavemen, Kingsley Okorie, has revealed why he opted for music instead after studying law in school.
He said he felt imprisoned in the course he was studying when all he wanted to do was music.
Kingsley made the revelation on Nancy Show. His brother, Benjamin, was also present. Kingsley said while his brother had gone to music school from the beginning, he had studied law.
Benjamin claimed the pressure to study more was not on him but on Kingsley because he was the older brother.
Kingsley said,”After law school, I came back to the house and I told my brother, ‘Yo, in law school while I was going to a civil litigation class.
“I thought about it cause I was in Kano, I’m away from Lagos and Abuja where I would get gigs, so I think I’m in a cave. ‘I think I’m a caveman.’ And my brother was like, yeah that is the name.”
