Nigerian actress, Cossy Orjiakor, has announced the reason why she chose not to have children till when she gets older.
Born on October 16, 1984, Cossy hails from Anambra State, a graduate of University of Nigeria, Nsukka and Lagos State University where she had her master’s degree.
Speaking in a chat with Inside Nollywood, the actress has announced that she is ready for marriage.
Cossy who is engaged to her German lover, Abel Jürgen Wilhem, claimed she intentionally waited this long to start a family.
She added that her mother had married at a young age and this made the children grow up rapidly as she is, with little to no gap between them, thus, making the children leave home early leaving her behind.
Cossy said she doesn’t want the same to happen to her.
The actress also added that if her age decides to play funny with her, she is open to surrogacy.
“I have always wanted to have a child at an older age because my mum had us when she was young, we all grew and left her. So, didn’t want that for myself.
“Now, I have seen the man that I want to have baby for. Even if I can’t, I’ll use a surrogate. I am ready for marriage and would be getting married soon.
“I had always wanted someone that would be crazy about me even after knowing that i am controversial. I had dated someone that the mum stormed my house to warn me that her son would never marry me. I felt bad.
“My fiance is so crazy about me. I dared him to tattoo my name on his body and he did more than five places. He also added poem tattoo on his body for me.
“His parents are late, same as mine. So we are cool.”
The Nollywood star and former singer rose to stardom when she appeared as a video vixen on Obesere’s music video.
Cossy Orjiakor is known for flaunting her breasts at events, which she describes as God’s gift to her.
