Kano State Governor Abdullahi Ganduje says viable ongoing projects by his administration should not be abandoned by his successor because it will amount to a waste of tax-payers money.

In his Sallah message issued by the Kano State Commissioner for Information and Internal Affairs, Muhammad Garba, yesterday, Ganduje, stressed the importance of continuity in governance and urged the incoming government to ensure that all viable projects executed with taxpayers’ money are completed.

“No project executed with taxpayers’ money is worth abandoning,” he said.

He reiterated Ganduje’s message, saying that the governor had “no grudges against anyone” and called for forgiveness from those he might have offended in the course of governing the state.

“We call on the incoming government to ensure the completion of all viable projects embarked upon by his administration which time could not permit their completion for the benefits of the people in the state,” he added.
