Wizkid becomes first African to headline UK’s Glastonbury festival

Grammy award-winning star, Ayo Balogun, also known as Wizkid, has made history as the first African artiste to headline the biggest festival in the United Kingdom.

The singer on Friday performed in Glastonbury festival with over 210,000 attendees.

Recall that his friend and colleague, Burna Boy, had performed at the festival last year but not as a headliner.

Wizkid performed a medley of his hit songs like ‘One Dance’, ‘True Love’, ‘Essence’, ‘Ojuelegba’, and others.

He had headlined the ‘Other Side Stage’ of the festival which was held in Somerset, England.
