About 20 ships loaded with petroleum products, food and other items are expected to berth and the rest in the port of Lagos from February 5th to 15th.
This was made known by the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) in its publication `Shipping Position ‘.
According to information from the NPA, the ships contain bulk sugar, buck wheat, general cargo, frozen fish, soy, gypsum, butane, pop starch, bulk fertilizers, base oil and containers. They are expected to arrive at Lagos ports.
The NPA stated that three more vessels had arrived in ports, waiting to dock with bulk wheat and gasoline.
Reports say 16 other ships in the ports offloaded general cargo, wheat, gasoline, frozen fish, containers, ethanol, automobile gasoline and gypsum.
