First dates are supposed to be exciting, a moment to meet that one person you’ve been planning to meet or someone you just met and want to get to know better. It’s normal to be nervous.
You’re either worried about your appearance, your outfits, your presentation, or if they are going to like you the same.
However, after getting all these in control, how do you know when you are having a nice date or when you should dust your butt and leave!
Here are 6 signs you are having a great date or not;
1.Treat you right
Do they treat you right? You should be able to make up your mind before the date ends. Is he a gentleman or an insufferable lady. Mistakes are bound to happen, a spilled drink, a late order of food. Do they take the anger on you? Do they apologize when they arrive late, are they constantly complaining or rude towards waiters? Or are they doing the exact opposite of all listed? You should know.
2. They suggest second dates
Your date is going on well if they want to meet again, they are already planning another date with you while still on a first date with you. They already have interesting places they want you to see when NEXT you meet.
3. They are not distracted
Someone who is enjoying his or her date with you will not be checking other people out or constantly checking their phone. It’s a bad date if they are always talking out of context, cut your conversations with a yes or no answer.
4. They are interesting
Are they asking questions about your life in general? Do they want to know how you cope, what you do for fun, how you relieve yourself from stress and work? Your future plans? If they do all these, your date might be on a right track because they seem to be genuinely interested in you.
5. You share a lot in common
You and your date have the same interest in movies, games, music and sports. You are both introverts or extroverts or you both love an ongoing series. This can make you both engage in deep discussions and even arguments but the good, natural arguments.
6. Enjoy each other’s companies
If you don’t want the date to end on time, you are having a great first date. Maybe he/she makes you laugh, or they laugh at your jokes.
