Abba Kyari: Fears in government circles that Buhari’s CoS might have infected scores of people

There are palpable fears in the top echelon of the Federal Government that those who came in contact with the Chief of Staff to President Muhammadu Buhari, Mallam Abba Kyari, may have been infected with Coronavirus.

Abba Kyari, widely believed to be the most powerful unelected official in the Presidency tested positive to COVID-19 recently after returning from an official trip to Egypt and Germany.

Since his return, he had interacted with a lot of people both in his private and public capacities.

Among those to have mingled with him included President Muhammadu Buhari, Vice President Yemi Osibanjo, Secretary to the FG, Boss Mustapha, Minister of Health, Osagie Ehanire, Minister of Power, Saleh Mamman and his aides.

Others are Nigerian Ambassador to Gernany, Yusuf Tugga, MD of NCDC, Chikwe Ihekweazu (met Kyari during the meeting of the Presidential taskforce on coronavirus) including Ministers of Interior, Foreign Affairs, Humanitarian Affairs, Education, Information, State for Health, DG DSS and WHO country Rep.

Kyari attended Governor Yahaya Bello’s mother’s burial, he came in contact with Adams Oshiomole, All APC Governors, General Tukur Yusuf Buratai, IGP Mohammed Idris, All Service Chiefs and security details of top government personnel.

Meanwhile three members of staff Abba Kyari’s office have reportedly tested positive to Coronavirus.
