American comedian, Bill Cosby, has been released from prison on Wednesday June 30, after the Pennsylvania Supreme Court overturned his indecent assault conviction and ordered his release.

The comedian and actor was convicted in 2018 for drugging and molesting an ex-basketball player, Andrea Constand. He was sentenced to a 10-year jail term.

However, the Supreme court has overturned his conviction after an agreement that prevented him from being charged was found.

According to sources, that has contaminated the evidence and trial so his sex conviction was thrown out.

Bill Cosby, who has always maintained his innocence, has served more than two years in his three to ten years in prison.

The judges said there had been a “process violation” by the prosecution, but admitted their ruling was unusual.

A video also showed Bill arriving at his home with the help of three other individuals.

The 83-year-old is best known for starring in the 1980s TV series, ‘The Cosby show’.
