American actor, stand up comedian and musician, Dustin Diamond, has lost the battle to cancer of the lungs, aged 44.
The “Saved by the bell” actor died on Monday, February 1, 2021 in Florida, U.S., born Dustin Neil Diamond on January 7, 1977 in San Jose, California, U.S.
Recall that the actor was diagnosed with stage four small-cell lung carcinoma and was announced by his manager on January 14, 2021.
He was undergoing chemotherapy in Florida till his death.
According to reports, the deceased’s condition had declined since last week and he had been taken off breathing machines in an attempt to get him to hospice care.
Dustin had recently completed his first round of chemotherapy since he was diagnosed.
He had married his longtime girlfriend, Jennifer Misner, in 2009 and got seperated in 2013.
The late actor’s home in Port Washington was put up for sale in 2020 stating that Dustin was relocating to Florida.
His father was by his bed till he passed on Monday, February 1, 2021.
