The Africa Magic Viewers Choice Award 2023 is upon us as the event kick start as always with the cultural day event.
The celebrities which include Nollywood actors, socialites and a great number of Big Brother Naija and Titans made their way to the red carpet.
As the name of the event day implied, the carpet was filled with traditional wears from the Yorubas, Edos, Fulani Tribe, South African tribes, and many more.
Although, there was a lesser show of creativity this year as many were seen dressed in typical owanbe outfits, a few wear able to make the carpet their runway with their creativity.
Actress Mercy Aigbe wore a simple brown woven gown adorned with beads. She also has a bow behind her in the same attire. Actor Bolanle Ninalowo equally had a simple black outfit however, his top was printed with art works and words like family, black excellence and Omo Eko.
Reality TV star and actress, Mercy Eke wowed her fans with a cowrie dress and a crown fully designed with similar cowries.
At the end of it all, Big Brother’s children Yemi Cregx and Venita won for the best dressed male and female of the night.
The show was hosted by actors Nancy Isime and Daniel Etim Effiong and sponsored by Amstel Malta among other sponsors.
