Australia will be donating $50m as an aid to support and show assistance to Ukraine after the invasion by Russia on February 26.

Australia’s Prime Minister, Scott Morrison, disclosed this yesterday in a statement amidst the fallout between Ukraine and Russia.

Morrison said: “The overwhelming majority of that will be in the lethal category.

“We’re talking missiles, we’re talking ammunition, we’re talking supporting them in their defense of their own homeland in Ukraine and we’ll be doing that in partnership with NATO.”

Recall that several countries around the world have shown solidarity to Ukraine since their invasion by Russia on February 24.
