The second day of the most anticipated show BBNaija Reunion ‘Shine Ya Eye’ edition has kickstarted with enough drama and a round of ‘gbas gbos’.
Shine Ya Eye reunion is living up to the praises Ebuka gave them weeks ago about being the best dressed set of housemates. The second day came with a theme of corporate wear. Ladies dressed in their best bossy looks while the men were in their suits.
The day kicked off with Ebuka showing clips from the last edition where Maria was seen gossiping about Angel with Jackie B, Peace and Nini. She was seen ‘slut shaming’ her.
Maria stated that her opinion about Angel stands. According to her, that’s her opinion because Angel flirted and kissed almost all the guys during the Truth and Dare games. She said she is not a saint, however, that’s her opinion about Angel. Jackie B also cleared the air stating that the conversation came as a result of what Angel showed in the house.
Peace said her major concern about the night Angel was ‘slut-shamed’ in the executive lounge was about how Sammie was treated and not what Maria brought to the table. When asked what that was, she said she was just taking sides with Sammie because no one listened to him over his confrontation with Angel.
Angel interrupted the conversation saying Peace picked sides because Sammie liked Peace and they both wanted to have themselves. According to Angel, she was pissed because Sammie didn’t deserve to shame her for something he is also doing.
Sammie was asked to defend himself and he did brilliantly. He apologised for slut-shaming Angel. According to him, the fight escalated in minutes and he had no idea what slut shaming was. He was just catching ‘cruise’.
MariaAngel: This was the highlight of the night. Maria claimed she never apologise to anyone over her gossip and Angel’s slut-shaming clip. She said she would never apologise for stating her opinion about Angel while in the house.
Angel said Maria wanted the house to take her ‘loud’ personality for who she is but she is not ready to accept her for who she is. Angel stated that Maria pretended to be her friend while in the house, pretended to be cool with her while she went to housemates to gossip about her.
Maria quickly shut that down telling the world that she is not Angel’s friend and she never pretended to be in the first place. Angel claimed Maria had no right to slut shame because she was doing the exact thing with other guys. She claimed Maria flirted with Michael and a few others.
Maria said she brought up the conversation in the executive lounge based on what another housemate, Michael, told her about Angel probably the one with the ‘nastiest Va***a’ in the house.
Michael was asked to defend himself and he said he was made to pick someone and he picked Angel because someone had to be picked.
NiniAngel: Nini and Angel had their differences pointed out. According to Angel, she was shocked and disappointed to see Nini a part of the slut shaming conversation because she thought they were friends while in the house.
Nini said she was just unfortunate to be there at that time because she never intended to gossip about Angel. She said the conversation started with the other two housemates talking about Angel using her flirting as a strategy to win people on her side. According to Nini, she is the house for the game so she had to listen to what they had to say and not because of the slut shaming gossip.
Angel went further to ask if Nini would have shut the conversation down when the ‘slut-shaming’ topic came up if Arin was the main person instead of her. Nini said she would have listened to them first just the way she did with hers. Nini said Angel unfollowed her after the house.
Day 2 ended with a little clip showing a drama ensued between Arin and Nini who were best friends while in the house.
