BET Awards: Cardi B, Lil Baby win big

American rappers, Cardi B and Lil Baby, were part of the big winners at the BET Hip Hop Awards 2021, which aired on Tuesday night.

Cardi B won three awards for “WAP”, which also featured Megan Thee Stallion.

The song was named song of the year, best hip hop video, and best collaboration.

According to Billboard, the award ceremony was pre-recorded on Friday at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Center in Atlanta, but was aired last night.

Lil Baby was awarded hip hop artist of the year and best duo with Lil Durk.

Other artistes that won the BET Award are:

Call Me If You Get Lost, Tyler, The Creator won the Hip Hop Artiste of the year.

Tyler, the Creator — Best Live performer.

J. Cole — Lyrist of the year.

Little Simz (UK) – Best International flow.

Missy Elliott – Video Director of the year.

Hit-Boy – Producer of the year.

Saweetie – Hustler of the year.

Jay-Z, “What It Feels Like” (Nipsey Hussle feat. Jay-Z) – Sweet 16, Best Featured verse.

Nipsey Hussle feat. Jay-Z, “What It Feels Like” – Impact track.

Tyler, The Creator – Rock the Bell Cultural Influence Award.

Nelly – I Am Hip Hop award.
