Boko Haram has vowed to recapture the territories recovered by Nigerian troops.
Security analyst and a counter-insurgency expert on Lake Chad region, Zagazola Makama, disclosed this, at the weekend in a video shared on X, formerly known as Twitter.
The terrorists also threatened to attack the Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF), whom they referred to as “Yan Red Cross”, accusing them of joining forces with the military to attack them in their enclaves.
One of the armed terrorists said in Hausa: “We are here to announce loud and clear that we are fully back to reclaim all the territories we lost to infidels.
“For you, Red Cross, you are elated because they gave arms to you; let it be known to you that you cannot win against Islam. We depend on the power of Allah and by his might, we will conquer.”
