The National Executive Committee (NEC) of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) is currently in an emergency meeting at the Aso Rock Presidential Villa, Abuja.
Participants of the meeting are connected virtually.
The meeting was scheduled last month to review the position of the party and deliberate on its next line of action as it concerns its national leadership.
The National Chairman of the party’s Caretaker and Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee, Governor of Yobe State, Mai Mala Buni, led other members of the party’s NEC, including President Muhammadu Buhari, into the meeting.
The Senate President, Senator Ahmad Lawan, and Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila, add to the list of those in attendance, physically.
Details of the meeting are yet to be known as they were still in the meeting as of press time.
