Members of the Niger state House of Assembly, on Thursday, removed the Majority Leader of the Assembly, Honorable Binta Mamman.
Before her removal during a plenary session, Honorable Binta Mamman was the first female majority leader and the only female in the House of Assembly.
No official reason has been said to why the former leader was removed or the number and names of the lawmakers that supported the action against her.
Words were still being expected from the speaker of the House as at press time.
