Six patients being treated for the coronavirus have been discharged by the Infectious Diseases Hospital, Lagos after recovering from the virus.
Special Assistant to the Lagos state governor on health, Tunde Ajayi, had hinted about the discharge on Thursday via Twitter.
He wrote: “Six of our #COVID19 inpatients have recovered and will be discharged soon. There is something Lagos is doing right. Lagos takes the lead.”
This puts the number of recoveries to nine after three earlier won the battle over the dreaded pandemic.
There have been 111 confirmed cases in the country and one death according to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control.
