Nigerian singer, Burna Boy, has won his first Grammy Award at the 63rd Grammy Award Ceremony held on March 14, 2021.
His Album, ‘Twice As Tall’, was nominated for the Best Global Music Award Category.
Recall that Burna Boy’s album, ‘African Giant,’ was nominated for the Best Global Music Album last year but lost to African’s super star, Angelique Kidjo.
The Award-winning singer has also joined the list of legendary artists like Ali Farka Toure & Angelique Kidjo as Africans who have performed at Grammy.
