Arsenal and Chelsea are through to the quarter-final of this year’s Carabao Cup.

Kai Havertz opened the scoring for the Blues, but Che Adams equalized immediately after the break.

Kepa Arizabalag was the hero again for the Stamford Bridge side, as they won 4-3 on penalties.

For Arsenal, two second-half goals from Callum Chambers, who scored with his first touch off the bench, and Eddie Nketiah were enough to hand them a convincing win over Leeds United.

Sunderland are also through, after they won a shoot-out against Queens Park Rangers.

Meanwhile, Super Eagles’ Kelechi Iheanacho will hope to make his 10th Carabao Cup appearance and 10th goal when Leicester City host Aston Villa at the King Power Stadium on Wednesday.

He could take his tally in the Carabao Cup to seven if he finds the back of the net in the encounter.
