Comedian A.J Johnson passes away at 56

American comedian and actor, Anthony Johnson, has passed away.

He died at 56 in Los Angeles.

According to reports, his nephew, who had found his lifeless body in a store earlier this month, announced his passing.

He was reported to have been taken to the hospital at the time of the incident where he was pronounced dead.

The cause of death is yet to be confirmed.

He is best known for his iconic career-launching role as Ezell in the 1995 comedy classic Friday.
He also has more than 50 film and television credits to his name.

Johnson is also known for starring in films like “I Got The Hookup”, “Players Club” and more.

He was born on May 5, 1965 in California, United States.
