Community hails woman’s appointment as DCoS to Kwara Gov.

A group, Omo-Ibile Esie in Irepodun Local Government Area of Kwara has commended the state government over the appointment of Mrs Risikat Babalola as it’s new Deputy Chief of Staff.

Mr Olayide Adeniran, leader of the group, stated this in a statement made available to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Wednesday in Omu-Aran.

NAN reports that the new Deputy Chief of Staff (DCoS) is a princess in Esie community.

Adeniran described the appointment as “a welcome development and a round a peg in a round hole”.
He also described the appointment as a justification of Babalola’s contribution to the growth, progress and socio-economic development of the community and the state in general.
He thanked Gov. Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq for the honour and recognition given to the community, noting that it has confidence in the ability of Babalola to deliver in her new assignment.
Similarly, Oba Yakubu Babalola, the traditional ruler of Esie and Elesie of Esie promised continuous support to the governor to reciprocate the appointment.
The traditional ruler said that the community would reciprocate the governor’s support for him to continue to achieve laudable developmental Initiatives, especially at the grassroots.
He charged the new appointee to imbibe diligence, transparency, efficiency and trustworthiness in carrying out her assignments.
The monarch also tasked her to live up to the expectations as a true ambassador of the community.
“You should see your new appointment as a call to service in the face of people’s high expectation on this administration to deliver the desired dividend of democracy.
“It’s a great opportunity for you to do more in contributing your quota to the growth and progress of your community and the state.
He said her appointment was a huge investment of trust by the governor, which should not be betrayed.
