The crisis rocking the All Progressives Congress (APC), on Thursday, took another twist after a Federal High Court, Abuja reaffirmed Victor Giadom as its acting National Chairman.
The court also ruled that National Vce-Chairman North-East, Nustapha Salihu, should act as National Secretary.
The rulings of the court were sequel to ex parte motions filed by Salihu.
Delivering his judgement, Justice S. U Bature held that his ruling would subsist pending the time NEC convenes and take a decision or determination of the suit.
This further deepens the crisis rocking the party following an Appeal Court judgment upholding the suspension of Adams Oshiomhole as National Chairman.
Recall that an Abuja High Court had in March ordered the suspension of Oshiomhole.
While the party announced ex-Oyo State Governor, Abiola Ajimobi, in acting capacity, Giadom declared himself the rightful chairman.
He subsequently reversed the disqualification of Governor Godwin Obaseki of Edo State from the June 22 gubernatorial primary election and ordered a fresh exercise.
However, members of the national working committee (NWC) nominated Hilliard Eta, APC Vice-Chairman South-South, to act in the place of Ajimobi who was “unavoidably absent”.
