Following resentment by Nigerians to the alleged secret plot to pass a Bill on mandatory vaccination in the country, the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila, bowed to pressure and paused legislative operations on the Bill for a Public Hearing.
The Speaker’s volte-face may not be unconnected with the social media buzz regarding the many conspiracy theories concerning certain unethical objectives, promoters of vaccines are alleged to be harbouring.
Running through the online discourse is the theme revolving around an alleged annihilation of the African population, among other hidden agenda, through compulsory vaccination.
The fierceness that has characterized global discourse concerning vaccine as the only option for a cure to the Covid-19 pandemic, makes one wonder what the fuss on vaccines is all about. After all, most of us had vaccine inoculation when we were children.
It was a mandatory injection you had to take to prevent Polio, Malaria or whatever disease that the Vaccine was made to fortify your system against. Yet, most of us still fell to Malaria infection, while some other children still surrendered to Polio or Autism.
It turns out that those nurses who gave us those vaccine shots, even those who do it today, do not know the ingredients in the vaccines they administer: the level of adjuvant, contaminants, carcinogens etc. So, they do not know and have no way of checking it out. And we, too, do not know what they injected into us.
It becomes imperative, therefore, to know, exactly, what vaccines are: their uses and side effects.
A vaccine is a biological preparation that provides active acquired immunity to a particular infectious disease. A vaccine typically contains an agent that resembles a disease-causing microorganism and is often made from weakened or killed forms of the microbe, its toxins, or one of its surface proteins.
The agent stimulates the body’s immune system to recognize the agent as a threat, destroy it, and to further recognize and destroy any of the microorganisms associated with any agent it may encounter in the future.
Vaccines can be prophylactic (to prevent or ameliorate the effects of a future infection by a natural or “wild” pathogen), or therapeutic (e.g., vaccines against cancer, which are being investigated).
The administration of vaccines is called vaccination. Vaccination is the most effective method of preventing infectious diseases; widespread immunity due to vaccination is largely responsible for the worldwide eradication of smallpox and the restriction of diseases such as polio, measles, and tetanus from most parts of the world.
Besides the fact that vaccines contain antigens, it also has adjuvants and other chemicals, stabilizers, and preservatives. Antibiotics are added to help prevent contamination during manufacturing.
Despite the presence of antibiotics, many vaccines are still contaminated. Other questionable harmful ingredients in vaccines include formaldehyde, mercury, aluminium, and other toxic ingredients.
These ingredients make some wary parents worry about vaccine safety. In today’s world, where parents are highly conscious about what types of foods they eat and what they give to their children, they do their best to avoid toxins and chemicals in the food they consume.
The talk about the vaccine as a cure to the pandemic seems odd since many of them are alleged to contain harmful ingredients such as toxins, contaminants, DNA-altering materials, Radio-Frequency Identification (RFID) identifiers, sterility-causing agents, carcinogens among others.
The adjuvants in most vaccines have shocked the immune system into responding, so the vaccines can have a better chance of working. But when your immune system is in shock, a lot of things can go wrong with your health.
Mercury, for instance, is one of the harmful ingredients in vaccines.
For many years, children received 237 micrograms (mcg) of mercury in vaccines during their first two years of life. The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)’s recommended “safe” level (to ingest, not inject) is 1/10th of 1mcg per kilogram per day.
Vaccines have far exceeded these levels. Many people now question if thimerosal in vaccines contributes to the striking rise in autism that has occurred right alongside the increased number of vaccines.
Injected mercury is different from ingested mercury. As a matter of fact, it is 100 times more toxic and is associated with neurological damage. Mercury is 500 times more toxic than lead and is second only to Plutonium as the most toxic metal known to man.
Mercury poisoning and the symptoms of autism are strikingly similar. In addition, mercury is a known carcinogen. Ironically, cancer is the leading cause of death to children past infancy. Could taking combined vaccines with mercury be contributing to cancer in children?
Furthermore, there appears to be a correlation between the uses of aborted human fetal cells with the coincidental rise of autism.
Several online articles corroborate the coincidence demonstrating that aborted fetal tissue may be one of the most harmful ingredients in vaccines.
We see a spike in autism in 1995 with the introduction of human DNA to the MMR (measles, mumps, rubella) vaccine, suggesting a possible link. According to Helen Ratajczak, a former senior scientist at a pharmaceutical firm, there is a link to brain damage and human DNA in vaccines. DNA in vaccines is taken up by human cells and recombined into their genome.
People who believe vaccines are safe cannot say for certain that they are completely right, because even the manufacturers and administrators of the vaccines cannot vouch for 100% for its safety.
As it turns out, therefore, we never know what vaccines they inject into our systems. Over 100,000 people are reported to die every year in the United States (US) of America from vaccines.
Experts posited that the polio vaccine used a specific strain, a strain found to have caused a major epidemic worldwide. In India alone, 490,000 children were paralyzed by the vaccine.
According to the April 19, 2020 edition of the SGT Report, an online publication in a report titled: Bill Gates’ Vaccine Crime Record: 496,000 Paralyzed Children in India And More, Indian, doctors blamed Bill Gates for a devastating vaccine-strain polio epidemic that paralyzed 496,000 children between 2000 and 2017. In 2017, the Indian Government dialled back Gates’ vaccine regimen and evicted Gates. Polio paralysis rates dropped precipitously.
In rebuttal, pro-Bill Gates practitioners said in the Apr 23, 2020 edition of the Lead Stories, another online publication, debunked the Indian Vaccine-paralysis scandal in a report titled: Fact Check: 496,000 Children in India Were NOT Paralyzed From ‘Bill Gates Polio Vaccine’ From 2000-2017, explaining that peddlers of the claim overstated the number of incidents.
Admitting that some children in “very rare” cases do become paralyzed after receiving the oral polio vaccine, as documented by the World Health Organization (WHO), they said the condition, known as “vaccine-associated paralytic polio (VAPP)” occurred in about one in 2.7 million doses of the oral vaccine worldwide.
From 2005 to 2015, WHO says, more than 10 billion doses of the oral polio vaccines were administered to over 2.5 billion children, preventing more than 10 million polio cases during that period. Using that 10 billion doses as a benchmark and WHO’s figure of one paralyzed child for every 2.7 million doses equates to about 3,700 children paralyzed worldwide over a decade, still a tragic number, but far from the hundreds of thousands used in the false social media posts.” Stated the Report.
Whether it is 496,000 or 3,700, some children suffered the side effect of the vaccine, it meant that over 3,700 families had been thrown into the permanent misfortune of nursing the paralysis of their children through no fault of theirs.
Similar disasters were experienced in the vaccines for malaria, tetanus, HPV, and meningitis.
In 2014, millions of women were sterilized in Kenya as reported in the February 17, 2015 edition of Global Research, an online journal cited LifeSiteNews, a Catholic publication. According to the story, the Kenya Catholic Doctors Association charged UNICEF and WHO with sterilizing millions of girls and women under the cover of an anti-tetanus vaccination program sponsored by the Kenyan government.
While a nervous Kenyan government denied there is anything wrong with the vaccine, and said it is perfectly safe, the Kenya Catholic Doctors Association, however, saw evidence to the contrary, and had six different samples of the tetanus vaccine from various locations around Kenya sent to an independent laboratory in South Africa for testing.
The results confirmed their worst fears, as all six samples tested positive for the HCG antigen. The HCG antigen is used in anti-fertility vaccines but was found present in tetanus vaccines targeted at young girls and women of childbearing age. Dr Ngare, the spokesman for the Kenya Catholic Doctors Association, stated in a bulletin released November 4, 2014:
“This proved right our worst fears; that this WHO campaign is not about eradicating neonatal tetanus but a well-coordinated forceful population control through mass sterilization exercise using a proven fertility regulating vaccine. This evidence was presented to the Ministry of Health before the third round of immunization but was ignored.” Dr Ngare said.
Dr Ngare brought up several points about the mass tetanus vaccination program in Kenya that caused the Catholic doctors to become suspicious.
Dr Ngare told Life Site News that several things alerted doctors in the Church’s far-flung medical system of 54 hospitals, 83 health centres, and 17 medical and nursing schools to the possibility the anti-tetanus campaign was secretly an anti-fertility campaign.
Why do they ask? Does it involve an unprecedented five shots (or “jabs” as they are known, in Kenya) over more than two years and why is it applied only to women of child-bearing years, and why is it being conducted without the usual fanfare of government publicity?
“Usually we give a series three shots over two to three years, we give it anyone who comes into the clinic with an open wound, men, women or children,” said Dr Ngare.
But it is the five vaccination regime that is most alarming. “The only time tetanus vaccine has been given in five doses is when it is used as a carrier in fertility-regulating vaccines laced with the pregnancy hormone, Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG), developed by WHO in 1992.” Said the Spokesman for the Kenyan Catholic doctors.
It would appear that these experiences may have informed the initiative taken by individual countries especially in Africa to come up with their own vaccines as for the pandemic.
Senegal and Madagascar have gone ahead of the world to come up with a homegrown solution to the coronavirus.
With these and many other examples, it is no wonder then, that Nigerians have rejected imported vaccines as a cure for the Covid-19 to be applied on Nigerians.
Early March, Maurice Iwu, former Chairman of Independent National Electoral Commission and Professor of Pharmacognosy got the assurances of two Nigerian ministers on Monday, March 2, 2020, to support his team on their drug project for the Wuhan coronavirus.
He received the pledge for support when he visited the two Ministries.
Based on the assessment, his research effort may be enhanced with N36m funding from the Ministry of Science and Technology.
I informed the ministers that the purpose of his visit was to formally brief them on his team’s efforts toward finding a treatment for Covid-19.
He disclosed that the lead drug discovery project included chemical isolation and characterization of naturally occurring compounds and subjecting them to a bioassay for the identification of potentially useful-drug-led molecules.
According to him, he worked with a network of eminent scientists and leading laboratories to target particular disease, especially neglected tropical, emergent and orphan diseases.
He also said they included leishmaniasis, ebola virus, dengue fever virus, chikungunya virus, coronavirus and caribe virus, among others.
He said he came to ask for assistance from Nigerians on the project.
Both Dr Ogbonnaya Onu, Minister of Science and Technology, and Dr Olorunnimbe Mamora, Minister of State for Health, pledged support.
Unfortunately, after his laboratory, in one of the South East States was burgled and burnt and his file with the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) was dusted up, the Virology professor had to calm down and lay low on his inventive adventure to save the world from Covid-19. Not much had been heard from that end of Nigeria’s search for a cure to the pandemic.
Towards the end of last month on April 23, 2020, the Minister of Health, Dr Osagie Ehanire, said Nigeria will not rule out homegrown vaccine towards the prevention and cure of the Coronavirus, COVID-19.
He said this while fielding questions from Journalists at the Presidential task force on COVID-19 daily press briefing against the backdrop of some countries coming up with locally manufactured vaccines for COVID-19.
Five days later, in the April 28, 2020-letter written to the NAFDAC Director-General, Prof. Mojisola Adeyeye and signed by the Permanent Secretary (Perm Sec) of the Health Ministry, A.M. Abdullahi, the Ministry intimated the Agency about the Cov-herbal cough mixture developed by the Traditional, Complementary and Alternative Medicines (TCAM) department in the Ministry.
In the letter, the Ministry stated that the ingredients that make up the cough mixture contain herbs that are widely used as food materials and medicines. “They include Allium Sativa (Garlic), Allium cepa (Onions), Zingiber Officinale (Ginger), Piper Guineense (West African black pepper) and Andasonia Digitata (Baobab fruits).” The Permanent Secretary stated.
The Ministry further added that the medicinal plants have documented scientific evidence of long use for the management of cough and other respiratory infections, with medicinal properties of mucolytic, antitussive, expectorant, soothing, demulcent, anti-inflammation and anti-viral effects.
Requesting the nation’s food and Drug parastatal to carry out necessary procedures for the listing of the purely Nigerian Covid-19 cough mixture, the Ministry explained that it is its desire to showcase the invention to the Nigerian public as a demonstration of its capacity for the promotion and integration of herbal medicine into Nigeria’s Healthcare delivery system.
It is noteworthy, that no mention was made of any previous effort from private or public sector initiatives at battling the pandemic when the Maurice Iwu solution had been given government’s guarantee.
Still, on the meeting held between the Virology Expert and the two Ministers, Onu assured the professor that the Science and Technology Ministry would give all the support it could to Prof. Maurice Iwu and his team, working under his Bioresources Development Group, of which he is the Chairman.
Recognizing the capacity of Nigerians, Onu had, some time ago, tasked Nigerian scientists to provide solutions to COVID-19
The Science and Technology Minister said he had admonished them on finding solutions to problems, whether regional or international and that such problems should not always be left for other people from foreign nations to solve.
“That is why we said that within the resources available to the Ministry, we are ready to make available N36 million to any scientist who can help us.”
Onu also said the ministry was very happy that Prof. Iwu had come to it with the compound he isolated about five years ago, adding that he was happy that I had already entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the U.S. on this project as regards his patents.
Onu called on the Nigeria Academy of Science to come and assist in the project, optimistic that the “compound” would be readily available to it for certification.
Dr Olorunnimbe Mamora, Minister of State for Health, who was present during the visit, thanked Prof. Iwu and his team for coming up with the identification of the potential treatment agent for coronavirus.
“We must start from somewhere and it is important for us to appreciate that if Nigeria must grow if Nigeria must develop, it is Nigerians that will develop Nigeria,’’ he said.
He said the Federal Ministry of Health would partner and collaborate with Iwu on the project.
From the composition of vaccines, it would be a generationally-damaging disaster for the Nigerian Legislature or government to contemplate promoting a Bill that would endorse mandatory vaccination for Nigerians.
Rather, the nation’s health sector managers, Administrators and Operators should endeavour to emulate the Senegal and Madagascar examples. Perhaps, this Covid-19 dark passageway may lead Nigeria to Local Content-driven industrialization at the end of the tunnel.
