Davido’s manager, Asa Asika, has refuted the claims of afro dancehall singer, Cynthia Morgan, that the artiste refused to help her

Recall that Morgan in an interview with a news report explained how Davido had ignored her calls and text messages after he publicly told her to call him.

However, Davido’s manager, Asa Asika, has refuted the claim, calling the act as “clout chasing”, calling her a liar.

Asa claimed Morgan is just looking for ways to shine again.

In his interview with Punch on Friday, December 19, 2020, he said,

“I don’t have time for such people. She knows that is not the truth. She knows she is lying and that is a lie. All these people are looking for clout; she is looking for who she would use to shine again. She is not serious because she knows that is not what the case is.

“I know David sent her a song that she recorded, so how did David send her the songs if they did not communicate? If it is one of the songs we didn’t use for the album. She recorded her verse and sent it back to us. The song was recorded some months ago.”

He acknowledged that both singers had a song that was supposed to be on “A BETTER TIME”, Davido’s recent album but was dropped because it was not “good enough”

He added, “I actually do not like her verse. That is actually one of the reasons why we have not used the song. I personally do not like the song and I told David that I did not like it.”

Morgan’s manager, Babalola, remained on the claim that Morgan tried to reach Davido severally but to no avail.
