Shodeinde, who lives at Ikotun, Lagos,  however, pleaded not guilty to the charge.

According to the prosecutor, ASP Ezekiel Ayorinde, the defendant committed the offence on Dec. 23, 2019, at Abule-Egba, Lagos State.

Ayorinde said that the defendant stole the money from the complainant,  Jumai Nig. International Ltd., which employed him.

Osunsanmi ordered that the sureties should be gainfully employed and show evidence of two years’ tax payment to the Lagos State Government.

The magistrate adjourned the case until March 30, for hearing.
