The English Premiere League resumed on Saturday after the international break with Arsenal recording their first win of the season.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s decisive goal in the second half was what the Gunners needed to have a new start.

This will be a major relief to manager Mikel Arteta, who is under pressure to get back to winning ways or risk losing his job.

However, the win has not lifted the Gunners from the relegation zone.

Meanwhile, Man United’s Cristiano Ronaldo marked his return to Old Trafford with a brace in the Red Devils 4-1 win over Newcastle United on Saturday.

The 36-year-old opened the scoring late in first half before taking the Red Devils ahead the second time after Newcastle had equalized through Javier Manquillo.

In his post match interview, he thanked the fans for their support and said he hopes to keep winning with the club.
