Former BBNaija lockdown housemate, Kiddwaya, has confirmed he is no longer in a relationship with ex-housemate, Erica.
The couple met during the reality show in 2020 and have been in a relationship since then.
The duo had been so close in the house and out of the house, especially when Erica was rumoured to have been linked to Kiddwaya’s mom.
However, during an interview with PUNCH in January 2021, Kiddwaya had stated that he doesn’t have a love life.
This caused an uproar among their fans who had hoped for a better relationship with them. Most especially since the duo have been spotted in many places displaying their affection for each others.
They recently traveled to Sierra Leone together.
Fans have been in and out of both pages asking why and what happened to their relationship.
Apparently, Kiddwaya often called “Kidd” has answered the uncertain question in a Q and A session on Wednesday, February 3, 2021 with his fans on Instagram.
He called Erica as his ”Girlfriend at the time”. When asked what he meant by “not having a love life”, he implied that it meant he is no longer in a relationship with Erica or anyone else.
“I feel like I need to explain myself here! So listen up carefully. She was my girlfriend at the time, and I didn’t want people to be too involved.
“I wanted it to be private, that’s why I said what I said.
“And sadly my words got twisted and it brought a lot of drags! Positive vibes from now on pls,” he concluded.
He said he made the statement about being single because he wanted to keep their relationship private.
However, that being said, Kiddwaya had cleared the misunderstanding arising from fans concerning his relationship with Erica.
Recall that a video had surfaced online recently, featuring Kiddwaya playing lustfully with Kaisha, an ex-housemate as well.
