Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have revealed they will be adding to the family of three soon.
The couple has announced the news on Sunday, February 14, 2021.
On the duchess’s page, she announced that Archie, their son is going to be a big brother.
The picture in black and white showed Prince Harry sitting on a grass while Meghan lay on his laps smiling, the expectant mom is shown in a flowing dress with her hand on her bump.
“We can confirm that Archie is going to be a big brother. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are overjoyed to be expecting their second child,” a spokesperson for the couple posted on their page.
The Duchess of Sussex wears a flowing dress by Carolina Herrera that was first made when she was pregnant with Archie. Meghan has a longtime rapport with the brand’s creative director, Wes Gordon.
The couple shared the news on Valentine’s day, a day specially made for lovers. This striked a reminder to the couple who had experienced miscarriage last year July.
Recall when she granted an interview in November 25, when she had revealed the loss of her baby.
She said, “Losing a child means carrying an almost unbearable grief, experienced by many but talked about by few.”
The couple had officially stepped down from their roles as senior royals last year to have a normal family life according to them.
A palace source previously told news report that by the time of Archie’s birth, “they knew they were going to hit the nuclear button” on their royal exit.
When Archie was born, the couple’s focus shifted even more to “doing what’s right for their family,” added another friend.
In the summer of 2019, the Duke of Sussex revealed that he and his wife wanted a “maximum” of two children
The couple has settled into a new life in their new home of Montecito after moving to California in mid-March.
Their son, Archie, will be two on May 6.
