Family kick against ‘suicide’ as cause of Socialite Dapo Ojora’s death, allege murder

The Ojora Royal Family of Lagos has confirmed the death of their son, Late Adedapo Adelanke Abdulfatah Ojora.

In a statement made by Toyin Saraki on Saturday, December 12, 2020, she confirmed the death of Dapo.

According to the statement, the family has dismissed the rumours circulating about a possible suicide. The family claimed the death is suspicious and investigation must be carried out.

Recall that news report confirmed that late Dapo was shot in the head on Friday December 12, 2020 at his home. Rumours have it that the deceased shot himself on the head.

However, the Lagos state Police Command has dismissed the rumour stating the start-off of an investigation to figure out the circumstances surrounding Dapo’s death.

They have also pleaded with friends and well-wishers to give the family time to grieve in private.

The statement read, “The Ojora Royal Family of Lagos sadly regrets to inform of the death of our dearly beloved son, brother, uncle and father, Omo Oba Adedapo Adelanke Abdulfatah Ojora on Friday, December 11, 2020, at his Ikoyi residence.

“We are grateful to the Lagos State Police Command for immediately commencing an investigation into the circumstance of his death, the outcome of which we wait.

“As we mourn our irreparable and devastating loss, we appreciate the condolence messages and to prayers that we have received and seek your understanding that the family be allowed to grieve in private. Funeral arrangements will be announced in due course.

“We ask that you continue to pray for the repose of our dearly loved Adedapo’s soul. Amen.”

The Lagos State Police Command have pleaded with the general public to disregard media speculation making waves on the cause of his death until proper investigation is completed.

Commissioner of Police, CP Hakeem Odumosu, has assured the family of a better result.
