A former Deputy Speaker of the Bauchi State House of Assembly, Saleh Abubakar Dumba, has died
Dumba died on Thursday night.
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Chairman of Dass Local Government Area (LGA), Alhaji Shatima Sani Korau, who confirmed this news, expressed his shock at the news of Dumba’s passing.
“I am sending my condolence message to late Honourable Abubakar Saleh Dumba.
“May Allah have mercy on him, light his grave and make death a rest for him, Amen,” Korau said in a statement.
Similarly, Jafaru Gambo Leko, a House of Representatives hopeful in Dass Bauchi, under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), wrote in a message to the deceased family: “Please accept our most heartfelt sympathies for the loss of Hon. Dumba. Our thoughts are with you and your family during this difficult time.”
