Golf legend, Tiger Woods, moves to new hospital for recovery

Golf player, Tiger Woods, has been moved to a new hospital in Los Angeles to continue his recovery from surgery following his recent car accident.

Recall that the legend was involved in a car accident on Tuesday, February 23, where he was said to have suffered multiple leg injuries.

Although it has been recorded that the professional golfer has woken up and is responding well to treatment, he has been moved to a new hospital.

The 15-time major winner underwent surgery to stabilize compound fractures of his tibia and fibula after the accident. He has now been transferred from the Harbor-UCLA Medical Center to the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.

Harbor-UCLA Medical Center interim CEO, Anish Mahajan, on the hospital’s Twitter account said, “Woods was transferred to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center for continuing orthopaedic care and recovery.

“It was an honour to provide orthopaedic trauma care to one of our generation’s greatest athletes.”

The player, 45, had been cleared of all charges as he won’t be facing any criminal charge, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff.

According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff, the player, 45 will not be facing any criminal charges of the accident.
