Gunmen on Wednesday morning attacked Government Science College, Kagara in Rafi Local Government Area of Niger State.
Several students have been abducted while one student is feared killed.
Reports say some teachers and their family members residing within the college staff quarters were also abducted by the gunmen.
Eyewitnesses say the gunmen were dressed in the same school uniform used by the students.
The abduction happened barely three days after about 18 passengers traveling, in the Niger State Transport Authority (NSTA), an intrastate bus, were kidnapped while coming back from a wedding at Rijau, in Rijau Local Government Area of the state.
Only a woman with her child was said to have been left by the kidnappers.
The Chief of Staff to the Governor, Alhaji Ibrahim Balarabe, and his entourage also escaped being kidnapped by whiskers while returning from the same Kagara, his hometown, for the APC Registration and Revalidation exercise on the same day.
