A board member of the Hydroelectric Power Producing Areas Development Commission, Isah Salami, has been kidnapped in Kogi State.
He was kidnapped in the early hours of Thursday on his way to the mosque in Ogaminana, the Adavi local government area of the state, according to report.
An unidentified person was also reportedly killed in the process of the kidnapping.
The kidnapping was confirmed by the Kogi State Police Command spokesman, SP William Aya, who also said one person was killed in the process.
It was gathered that the kidnappers came with a vehicle parked along the victim’s residence and zoomed off with him around 5:00am.
