Gunmen, on Sunday night, killed two persons during an invasion of Kuru Station of Wereng Community, Riyom LGA, Plateau State.
Two persons have been confirmed dead since the incident.
The militias invaded the community and started shooting sporadically, killing and wounding people.
The spokesman of Operation Safe Haven, (OPSH) in charge of Plateau , Bauchi and Kaduna States, Capt. James Oya confirmed the attack and added that they are on top of the situation at the time of this report.
He said the gunmen sporadically opened fire, while passing by and a bullet reportedly hit and killed one person.
