Helicopter crash: Ekweremadu rejoices with Osinbajo, urges prayers

The Deputy Senate President, Senator Ike Ekweremadu, has joined the rest of the nation in appreciating God for saving the lives of the Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo and his entourage, who were involved in a helicopter crash at Kabba, Kogi State on Saturday.

Ekweremadu, who took to his social media handles, @iamEkweremadu, to comment on the incident wrote: “I received with a total sense of shock the news of the helicopter crash involving the Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osibanjo, and his entourage.

“I thank God for this mighty deliverance. May His name be blessed and may He continue to grant our Vice President sound health, long life, and grace in all his endeavours”.

The deputy senate president enjoined Nigerians to continue to pray for the Vice President, his family, their leaders, and the entire nation.

Osinbajo had a close save with death on Saturday  when the propeller of the helicopter he was travelling  in suddenly pulled off on landing at the Kabba township stadium.

It was gathered that the Vice President’s helicopter crash landed at about 2.22pm.
