Afrobeat singer, Akinbiyi Abiola Ahmed, also known as Bella Shmurda, has revealed how his colleague, Mohbad, had attempted suicide over the crisis he had with his record label, Marlians records.
Recall that the artiste was involved in a battle with his record label and the founder, Naira Marley, resulting in the termination of his contract.
During the ordeal, Bella Shmurda had blasted Naira Marley on social media demanding for the release of his friend and his benefits.
Speaking with media personality, Chude Jideonwo, in a recent episode, he said Mohbad was saved a few inches from falling off from his window.
He said Mohbad’s girlfriend had walked in to see the depressed Mohbad sitting on the window. He said the incident led him into taking medications from therapy and high blood pressure to regulate him.
Bella Shmurda said, “There was a time, me and Mohbad were in an apartment and Mohbad was like he wanted to jump from the upstairs because of the issues he was having with his record label.
“We held him by the window. Mohbad had almost jumped, it was his girlfriend that entered the room and saw him sitting down at the window.”
